I attempted to download some Christmas Music, after this I have this program called BearShare on my computer. I deleted it using my computers Add/Remove program facility, but it still remains on my system. It would seem from the web pages that many other people have the same problem (remove BearShare). I continued to work online to look for right instruction and finally the BearShare was totally removed.
I downloaded the trial version of a recommended uninstaller online but there is no reference to BearShare files on the directory that the program produced that I could uninstall on my Windows xp. With Google, I did find that BearShare is a peer-to-peer file sharing program that allows users to download the latest music, video, and connect with friends and make new ones who are into the same artists. The users can easily access other profiles, pictures and their music libraries. The download process is quite easy and within a few minutes you will have access to a whopping 20 million songs and videos! In other words, you can easily download out the latest Pop, Rock, Rap/Hip Hop, and Alternative hits currently being played on video music channels and radio, but the extensive library of songs, my Christmas Music included, will takes you a trip down memory lane and install BearShare automatically.
A common notion about BearShare programs is the risk involved in file sharing due to viruses.
Now that BearShare has dispeared from the control panel whereprograms can be taken away usually. The only way is to forcibly remove the remained files or directories of it. There is a BearShare uninstaller available with the Force Uninstall function which can directly navigate to the program files and registry entries of the application. It did work for me and safely remove my problem. It can work for you too.
